About Bersa handguns
Bersa handguns are manufactured in Argentina by the Bersa S.A. Company. Thunder handguns are accessible, in several different versions. The Thunder-380 pistols are of simple blowback design, while more powerful Thunder-9, Thunder-40 and Thunder-45 pistols are of locked breech design.
The Thunder 380 handgun protect the hand from being 'bitten' by the actions of the hammer or the slide, but has a slide-mounted manual safety lever, which when switched to safe points downwards past the slide's sketch: if the user has very large hand the handgun carelessly while manually cycling the slide, the lever can a little cut the hand. Independently, the price of additional factory magazines is much higher than one might expect, but some third party manufacturers, such as Pro Mag Industries, have marketed alternatives (although of somewhat dubious reliability). There is, certainly, this awareness between many pistol consumers that a .380 ACP cartridge is not powerful enough to provide reliable and timely neutralization of an assailant.
Bersa handgun are comparatively reasonably priced and offer honest dependability, making them high-quality personal defense handguns. The only differences between Thunder and Thunder-mini pistols are dimension and magazine capacity. The Ultra-Compact .45 pistols are approximately intermediate in size between typical and tiny pistols, and, unlike smaller caliber handguns, they have a single stack magazine.
Bersa Thunder 9 handgun are standard issue pistols for the Argentinean Federal Police and the Buenos Aires Province Police.
