Beretta 9-mm Submachine Gun

This is the finest and most significant Italian sub-machine gun. This weapon is issued with a folding spear. The blade folds and locks back on the in side of the barrel casing. Weapon has two separate triggers. Pressing the forward trig¬ger fires a single shot. Pressing the trigger rear fires full automatic as long as the trigger is pressed. Gun can shot 400 to 500 rounds per minute, depending mainly on type of ammunition.

This gun also has a built-in compensator which allows escaped gases to rise freely up and directly ahead and forced down on the shelf on the bottom of the compensator, as a result tending to hold the weapon down and forward against the thrust and rise of the recoil.

Magazine: 20-40 round capacity. Position is directly under receiver.
